Etrust Antivirus 7.0 3 Pack

Last weekend, my friend told me when he tried to run the CA Etrust, an error massage popped up "Please wait while windows configures CA ETrust Antivirus". Actually, the error message came up because the antivirus software is corrupted on his computer. So, all he need to do is completely uninstall CA Etrust Antivirus, please follow the instruction below.

Normally you can uninstall Ca etrust antivirus with Windows utility:

1. Reinstall the software on your computer.

2. Uninstall Ca antivirus with Add or Remove Programs on Control Panel with the following instruction:

Go to the Start menu
Control Panel and select the Add or Remove Programs
highlight the Ca antivirus program icon to make the button of Change or Remove appear.
Then click the "Remove" button to start the removal
Follow the onscreen steps to finish the removal

If the Windows uninstall function doesn't work, you need to forcibly uninstall the left over entries or directories of the antivirus program directly in the hard drive with a software remover as below listed:

1. Uninstall the directory,C:Program FilesCAeTrust Internet Security Suite, on your computer.

2. Uninstall the 12 files below,

C:WINDOWSUnVet32.exe

C:WINDOWSsystem32ISafeIf.dll

C:WINDOWSsystem32iSafProd.dll

C:WINDOWSsystem32VetRedir.dll

C:WINDOWSsystem32driversVet-Rec.sys

C:WINDOWSsystem32driversVetEBoot.sys

C:WINDOWSsystem32driversVetEFile.sys

C:WINDOWSsystem32driversVetFDDNT.sys

C:WINDOWSsystem32driversvetmonnt.sys

After finishing all the uninstall process with one of the method above, delete this registry key, HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWAREComputer Associates, in the Registry Editor.
